Here's a step-by-step guide to making these delicious treats


Vegan Water Ganache Truffles


Ingredients:

  • 350g dark chocolate finely chopped (A fruity 70% dark chocolate will really showcase the flavour of the chocolate here)

  • 150g warm water

Instructions:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over bain marie.

  2. Once the chocolate is fully melted and silky, gradually pour warm water over the chocolate, stirring gently until the mixture is smooth and glossy again.

  3. Allow the ganache to set, cool down and firm up at room temperature or in the fridge.

  4. Once set, use a spoon to scoop out small portions of the ganache.

  5. Roll each portion into a ball with your hands (kids will love this part!).

  6. Optional, roll the truffles in crushed nuts, or coconut flakes or any toping of your choice for an extra festive touch.


Creamy Water Ganache Truffles


Ingredients:

  • 350g dark chocolate, finely chopped (A well balanced 60% dark chocolate will make a great crowd pleaser)

  • 25g butter

  • 150ml warm water


Instructions:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over bain marie.

  2. Once the chocolate is fully melted add the melted butter and mix well until the chocolate is smooth and glossy

  3. Gradually pour warm water over the chocolate in stages, stirring gently until the mixture is smooth and glossy again.

  4. (optional) You can add a pinch of salt at this stage to enhance the flavour of the chocolate.

  5. Allow the ganache to set, cool down and firm up at room temperature or in the fridge.

  6. Once set, use a spoon to scoop out small portions of the ganache.

  7. Roll each portion into a ball with your hands (this is the fun part!).

  8. Optional, roll the truffles in any toping of your choice for an extra festive touch.


Classic Cream Ganache Truffles


Ingredients:

  • 328g dark chocolate

  • 300ml cream

Instructions:


  1. Heat the cream gently in a saucepan until it begins to simmer.

  2. Pour the hot cream over the finely chopped chocolate, and let it sit for a minute before stirring until smooth.

  3. Let the ganache cool down and set, then proceed with the same rolling and coating steps.
